Living in the United States (or even outside the United States) with a past immigration violation can be debilitating and frustrating. A Waiver application takes plenty of preparation, time, and work, but if approved you are essentially “forgiven” of the violation and can obtain a green card and become a lawful permanent resident of the United States (maybe one day a U.S. Citizen!).

You Might Be Eligible for a Waiver of your Immigration Violation if you:

Have continuously resided in the U.S. since a certain time (1972); or
Have married a U.S. citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident;
Have U.S. citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident children or parent(s);
Qualify for a waiver of inadmissibility; or
Qualify for asylum.

The list above is not exhaustive – not all forms of relief are listed. Not every applicant will qualify for one of these routes, and not every application for a waiver will be approved. Filing a waiver application does not eliminate all risks for removal or deportation. However, if approved, your immigration violation will no longer be a source of anxiety for you and your family.

Outside of the United States?

If you are outside the U.S. and want to apply for a waiver through consular processing (i.e., through interview at your local U.S. Embassy/Consulate), we can assist you remotely as well. Consultations and meetings with the attorney are held over Zoom.
